Important COVID-19 Safety Information

Vermont Translines Cares About Your Safety!!

Vermont Translines has always taken pride in providing our customers and drivers with a thoroughly cleaned motorcoach at the onset of a trip.  This commitment to our drivers and passengers is all the more important as we deal with the current virus, COVID-19.  Vermont Translines has enhanced our cleaning procedures and protocols in response to this virus to ensure that your experience on our motorcoaches is as safe as possible.

Here is what Vermont Translines is doing:

Coach Cleanliness

Coach Cleanliness – Every motorcoach is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every trip using EPA approved chemicals to kill all germs and viruses, including COVID-19.  During your trip, our driver will utilize disinfecting wipes to clean high touch surfaces to help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the motorcoach.

Personal Protective Equipment

Personal Protective Equipment – The Vermont Translines team—from our cleaners to drivers—will utilize proper face covering while on your bus to help eliminate the possible spreading of germs and viruses.  In addition, each vehicle will have a hand sanitizer station located near the entry of the coach to allow both the driver and passengers to help stop the spread of germs and viruses.

Social Distancing

Social Distancing – Vermont Translines has implemented social distancing protocols to ensure both the driver and your safety.  Our drivers will exit the coach before allowing passengers to board and will then stand behind the front tire to allow for 6’ distance during the boarding process.  In addition, the front 4 seats will be marked off as non-seated areas to allow our driver to be able to maintain a 6’ distance from all passengers while under way.

Here is what you can do to help:

Coach Cleanliness

Coach Cleanliness – Please place all garbage in the appropriate receptacles.  This will help to protect our driver and cleaners who are responsible for maintaining the clean environment of the bus.

Personal Protective Equipment

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – As we do our part to utilize face masks while on the bus, we ask that you do the same.  This will help to protect yourself as well as your driver.  Though this is not a requirement, we strongly recommend all passengers to wear face protection.

Hand Sanitzer

Hand Sanitizer – We recommend the use of the hand sanitizer stations near the entry of each vehicle to assist in stopping the spread of germs and viruses.

Social Distancing

Social Distancing – Please allow the driver 6’ of space to exit the coach before you begin the boarding process.  We also ask that you board the coach from the rear to the front and exit the coach from the front to the rear.  This will assist in your safety as well as the safety of other passengers.

Together we can help to ensure the safest environment possible while enjoying the many benefits of bus travel!  We look forward to seeing you on one of our Vermont Translines Buses!!
